March 27, 2008: The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka signed an agreement with Havelock City (Private) Limited. Mr. Dhammika Perera, Chairman / Director General, signed the Agreement on behalf of the BOI. Hon Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion formally presented the investor with the BOI Certificate of Registrations.
The agreement was signed for the construction of the “Commercial Complex”. The “Commercial Complex” is an investment of US $ 60 million sponsored by Overseas Reality (Ceylon) Limited and Mireka Capital Land Limited.

said “We finalised the design of the complex and will commence construction this year”. The venture expects to complete construction of the Commercial Complex by 2010.
He further stated that the Shopping Mall constructed within the first 3 floors of the Commercial Complex will be the largest Shopping Mall built in Colombo.
The complex located at Colombo 6 will have access from the Havelock Road. It contains more 500,000 square feet in area. The complex will include features such as Shopping Mall, Office Space, Multiplex Cinema, Individual Shops, Department Stores, International Food Court and Independent Parking Area.

Mr. H Z Cassim (Director) and Mr. Ralph D Lanerolle (Managing Director) signed the agreement on behalf of Havelock City Limited.
