He'll be back: Arnie’s doing Terminator 5 and 6
Action hero turned politician turned older action hero, Arnold Schwarzenegger has reportedly signed on to film Terminator 5 and 6. As we rapidly approach the years of the robot uprising made famous in James Cameron's 1991 hit, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, will the star be too old to play the T-800 cyborg?
Annapurna Pictures, the studio behind critically acclaimed hits Lawless, Killing Them Softly and The Master has picked up the rights to the cult sci-fi franchise. Given that pedigree of filmmaking quality, it looks like Terminator is in safe hands.
It's been a decade since he last donned the leather jacket and shades, but at 65, Arnie isn't letting age slow him down. The ex-Governor of California has six movies planned for 2013.
Terminator isn't the only franchise Arnie intends to revisit. "I must first shoot Ten with David Ayer, but then we’re going to focus on Conan," he revealed. As long as it's better than the 2012 Conan, we'll be happy.
He's also planning a sequel to Twins with Danny DeVito
