------This thread is posted in Elakiri PRO section------

When it comes to installing a software, game etc... in the minimum requirements section - it says about a clock speed which the machine that the program is installed should atleast have.

My problem is - Early C2Ds had lower clock speeds - ofcourse they offer a better performance per MHz yet,

Do you know how to findout if the lower clocked C2D will work in such a scenario when the C2D has a lower clock (In my case 1.5GHz - Intel C2D T5250) than the required performance (Say, Intel 2.4GHz or more... that's what they say...)

Well... The best way I think that I can do is to install a software like Sisoft Sandra - and benchmark my processor with a so called Pentium 4 or Pentium D XGHz processor... - tht's what I knw... I searched through the internet - yet couldn't find any site which had benchmark comparisons of Mobile Pros.. like my T5250 in this case... Hmm...

May b I suggest that the world shouldn't measure a cpu by means of clock speed ny more... may b they should even advertise and market using some common agreement - Like FLOPS or some standard benchmark - which will be universal for AMD, Intel, VIA - so ny one can cross-compare...

ThanX 4 all of u who took ur time to reply...
