hi friends,
I'm using SLT Home express 512K connection and D-Link DSL-322T ADSL modem. I have the problem of disconnecting. So i called to 1243 (SLT) & they said the connection is fine and no problem with that. So i gave the modem to the shop that i get it to check it. they checked it and said the modem is alright and no problem with that but still i have the problem of disconnecting. So what can i do for it? I can't even download a RS file. So plz help me. If you know any solution for this plz reply me.

Hey man is this a problem you have always had?
If it is a new problem then have you installed any new software?(like programs that increase internet speed)
Any pls clarify you are using a modem right.Not a router?

this is a problem i always had & i'm using a modem not a router

If this a Problem you always had then it rules out any software or driver conflicts.I asked if it was a router because certain brands of routers have been know to prohibit the user from downloading files from file sharing sites like rapidshare.I think it has something to do with the in built firewalls in these routers.Does your modem have any such security built into the hardware?Also you may want to consider borrowing a adsl modem of a different make from one of your friends and trying it out.
