මචන්ලා මට පොඩි උදව්වක් ඕනේ. දන්න කෙනෙක් උදව් කරන්න. මගෙ Machine 1 i5 with intel DH55TC mainboard and 4GB Ram. මේ මගුලෙ සෙපරේට් VGA එකක් ගහලත් පෙන්නන්නෙ 2.99 GB Ram. මන් එයේ තවත් 2GB Ram එකක් ගහුව. එකත් එලකිරි වගේ වැඩ. එත් පෙන්නන්නේ 2.99GB මයි. දන්න කෙනෙක් ඉන්නවනම් මෙක හදාගන්න උදව් කරන්න.

    you have a 32bit operating system. I suggest to switch over to 64bit operating system. then if it doesn't show up the real size. go to the BIOS and enable the memory remap.
    then it will work. if you already have a 64bit operating system installed on your machine by enabling memory remapping you can also make it works.

    macho 64bit ekak daaganna :) 32bit supports upto 3Gb as i remember ....... specially in graphic design or in 3d works it doesn't support any ram value above 2GB

    What he said.. Mostly Memory remapping is on by default. What you need to do is switch to a 64bit operating system preferably windows 7 64bit and you will be able to use all 4 GB of your ram. DO NOT use kernel patching or any software to make a 32 bit use 4GB.

    It's not switched on on Intel G31/4 chipset boards and some of them also.
    and don't please quote answers' posts. I said some of possibilities.
