Help On a mental illness, any advices would be great

According to his symptoms, Schizophrenia is the closest I can get to...Definitely not Depression as you think...you don't get psychotic features such as delusion of reference or persecution in Depression....Only in schizo affective disorders

Trust me...Psych was one of my fav subjects in med school...So I'm rarely wrong about these things.....usually

that may just be the case, but still they don't let you practice while still in med school

beside I didn't suggest him ECT or anti depressents for a conditions which needs anti Psychotics

Dude ECT?? seriously?? go back & hit your books & find out about the indications for giving ECT...I could tell you right now that Schizo isn't one of them

There are medications given especially to this condition such as Chlorpromazine or Haloperidol(traditional anti Psychotics which have a lot of undesirable side effects) & drugs such as Olanzepine or Resperidone

Kindly consult a Psychiatrist at any private hospital & tell him your problem to him & the diagnosis should be quite clear to him & he/she'll make you feel better in no time.unfortunately I have no idea about the names of a good psychiatrist.So try at E-channelling or making a visit to a private hospital Personally

Last but not the least,How old are you right now & are there anyone else related to you by blood with the same sorts of sysmptoms??

Also do you have thought disorders too, Such as feeling as if you can transmit thoughts to others,feel as if someone else is inserting thoughts into your head or controlling your actions through their mind??

thanks for ur suggetions, I started my medication back in 2010. Still like old days, still got da same probs. So i stoped the medication,
because she said " You have to cotrol it your self" when i say i got this hellusicnation thing.
If i can control it, will i go channel her, spending a lot of money?
Its not medication, its marketing!

Scizophrenia is big diagnose...
you can hardly make such a complicated diagnose by reading his post.
thats my point.
True he may be getting some mild form of psychosis..
but Bipolar Patients get psychosis too...
and for the depression case.
I didn't label him as a Depressive Person.

I told him he may be suffering from some form of a Thought Disorder
and if you've gone to med school im pretty sure you are well enough informed that sometimes imaginations/hallucinations/psychosis can be triggered due to Neurological Problems as well.

Just a side that someone wouldn't see much.

BUT NOW,
I know that it isnt true....

this may not be the best thing to do, why don't you let go of all the shit and adopt a nice self destructive life style. it might make you feel better..get drunk, screw a hooker or two
