    Machan...... try to reset your BIOS n set default settings....
    Most of the time this will works for strange errors Win 7 installing problems....

    But according to technological side of 64 bitting......
    Itz designed for computers which are operate with 4GB of RAM or more.
    If the computer is below this requirement level,there is no significant performance change that u can see.
    Therefore the best thing is switch to Windows 7 32bit n will run great on your PC with your moderate hardwares....
