Jeez!!! NOD32 takes only 12 (or is it 8? can't remember) minutes for a normal scan and 40minutes for a full scan. I love it!!!nabil said:Still scannin. Man this is taking a long time. The last time I performed a scan It tuk me arouund 3 hours. But then I found a lotta viruses too. So its worth it.

Hehe. And you know, I think these virus guards are so inefficient. Now I don't use the realtime protection. (I have already done a full system scan, so I know the files I have are not infected. Only the new ones can do any damage)chamithal said:Well! and NOD32 is better in terms of detection.. Kaspersky detects more.. but as I think it itself is a virus that runs browsing and system performance damn slower....

I will scan a file I download, manually, before launching. These are not so common, because I'm a torrent guy and I'm 100% sure they are virus free (from the sites that I download. Not the public ones). I also disabled Outlook plugin, because Google is taking care of it for me. I only have web protection and office doc protection enabled. That's all I need.

What do u use t download torrents??Anusha said:Hehe. And you know, I think these virus guards are so inefficient. Now I don't use the realtime protection. (I have already done a full system scan, so I know the files I have are not infected. Only the new ones can do any damage)
