HELP-Takes too much tim to boot the PC

    I did gave a reboot to my pc,n it got stop in the Intel image[about the MB image]for about 2-3minutes n came up the windows loading baar n came to login panel after I did gave my password and so again it gtmething like stuck for about another 3minutes.Dont know wat has happend.

    can anyone help me in this??

    Hmm.....This is an Intel motherboard right? Mine does this once in a while. I haven't found what causes it yet.

    PCs are. But Intel motherboards suck! Their BIOS is not as good as AWARD or AMI BIOSes. :(

    Where I'm now
    Intel mobos record some data into a log.Sometimes it asks to clear them when it is full.Once ma frnd got sturuck at this and called my help.Goto bios and see if there r any logs and the space for it is full.This will not be the correct answer 4 ur prob I think..

    no I do not keep logs,I knw the probz if it gt full

    well..I'm waiting fr an Apple.Cz I knw itz the best[bt nt the bestest] pc to keep running fr months without restarting n crashes

    shit intel motherboards suck??? thats it the computer shop guys in sl suck!!!!!!!!!!!!
    and i vote they all be removed and anusha be put in their place!!!!!!!!

    some times when i start my pc the comp starts up but abt 5 secs into the start the comp goes off. then in a sec it starts again this time rite upto windows.. any idea why this happens?

    this happens before the bios can start ... only one time though it then starts fine..
    mind due this happens once in a while

    well..if u mean that the pc gt restarted before the windows logo appears,then dude ur NTFS.sys file is damages.I got the same problem once,then I hd to install Ubuntu n then access the HDD to replace the NTFS.sys file

    You mean it resets before starting to load Windows or while loading Windows?

    There could be other reasons too. (eg: Driver issues)
