managers work under owners machan but owner is not an entity in an organization basically they are treated as employees as well.
Depending on the profit managers get a commission excluding the salary...

What about Marine Engineering?

Don't think about the salary ban just do what you love Some people thinks if they do IT degrees they will definitely get a better job than others but its not true. Even long vehicle drivers earn better than IT technicians. Maybe the salary is higher but don't look for salary always. No matter how good or bad your degree in current position if you love it truly you will never worry about the salary.
