Just because you cant differentiate does not give you the right to judge them. I’m no humanitarian and I wish that our Defence forces would capture the north and make Sri Lanka peaceful again. But, not for fools like you to create another black July and plunge our nation into another war and kill another generation of young and brave soldiers.

As you say the ones who have achieved have worked harder than the rest at uni etc. So isnt it fair that they reach the top? All I can say is that we should promote and support everyone to be given a fair chance in life regardless of their religion, race or any other criteria. The only exception is qualification. If you are qualified (not only education, it could be other ways) to do a job then you should be eligible to hold a certain position.

But why do you look at each person as Tamil, Sinhala or Muslim ? You are no better than those Tamils you say who support the LTTE. Just because they are wrong you don’t have to do the wrong thing.
If you continue like this you will never be happy and as a country we will always be 3rd world. Get your fingers out of your ass and work to do what is good. Not look at others who are successful and mope and moan.


Racism has no place in any of the religious teachings in our country. Budhu rajanan wahense, Jesus wahanse and Mohamed nabi thuma all tought us the same that all humans are the same. If we all learn a bit of your religion and practice it then we wont have all these problems and rata nikamma sangwadanaya wei. But first you and the likes need to change your mentality. Theres a Buddhist story, may be a Jathaka story...I dont keep records of the location mchan, I only get the example...a ascetic was meditating in the jungle and also there was a Cobra king nearby..cobra got impressed with the higher qualities and serenity of the ascetic....so he goes to the ascetic and questions about his features and the ascetic tells wht someone has to do to achieve such greater qualities...then the cobra begins to do meditation and practice good qualities.....this nonviolent nature of the cobra is noticed by some of the weddas...they come and hurt the animal...cobra tolerates everything they do, finally they kill the animal and takes the body...upon this the Bodhisathwa, the ascetic says even a cobra has to show his violence in order to defend himself..sorry machan I dont remeber the exact location in the Thripitaka..u should ask about this from a monk..
