If I am doing a HND, what matters to me is, whether I can get a
job right after I graduate, even at a entry level salary like Rs. 15,000. Believe me, I have seen countless EK members who struggle to even find a job even at that salary.
But if for you the course fee, is the major consideration, you may chose a less reputed institute but you might struggle to even get your first job, if the employers do not recognize that institute positively.
For e.g. the ESoft is a reputed place, offering at Rs. 125,000 but people here may have a different experience, when they look for work, if they have done at another institute like e.g. SLIIT/ ICBT etc.,
What matters is whether the program has the
potential to get you a job right after graduation. It doesn't mean that the institute can always find you a job although some good ones may have at least volunteer internship programs to get you some valuable work experience into your CV, during the program itself. Believe me, having some HND related experience on your CV can make a big difference as compared to someone who just has the HND.
So go collect brochures from all those institutes and find as much info about their students'
job success rate, before you make that most important decision of your life.
