Another thread without a basis....

First of all, Terrorism is widely recognised as "only those acts which are intended to create fear (terror), are perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a lone attack), and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants..." (wiki)

So by this definition, the only clear terrorist organisation we can see in Sri Lanka is the LTTE.
Hence the article falls in the begining it self.

Anyway if we go further,

Does anybody know that these organisations operate? Any solid proof other than this article and the video?
So if they are an armed organisation(s), why don't the Police or the GOSL don't act according to the law?

And going further down... the author of the thread says to "niyapoththen kadanna". So, any intelligent explanation as to how to? and what to?

1- me group godak activate wela inne muslim political parties ekka (muslim congress etc...)..Meyala open eke kiyanne nehe "radical" kiyala...

2- some of them activate as "charity organizations " Even the palestine Hamas in its earlier times declared them as "an organization of the charity and islamic teachings".. (LIKE MANY OF NGOs in SL. ..Despite they support LTTE , govt cant take any legal action due to their charity status)

3- the situation in the eastern provice is still very "fragile"... there is kinda of "power balance game". In one side there is karuna, and in other side there are muslim organizations....(mahinda and even the Ranil fear to lost their "compromised" power base among the eastern muslims)


4- Mahinda's chinthanaya government now almost depend upon economic and military helps from Muslim countries like Pakisthan and Iran..So strategically, any kind of anti- muslim extremist action will generate the negative impact on Mahinda (international relations) .

5-Most of foreign currency are generated through the poor sinhala/ tamil womens who work as maids in middle east countries.

6- SL entire petrolium intake is from muslim countries

Yeah machang. There's more sane people in Sri Lanka than insane ones. If anyone, like another Prabhakaran tries to come into power through warped ideologies, I think our Muslim brothers and sisters will know better. uhox, don't create unnecessary hate in our communities. We don't need it. If there are in fact any organisations like you say, they will get what they deserve for trying to rip apart the very fabric our society needs to function and that is breaking the spirit and spine of Sri Lankans, hitting us where it hurts most. Look what's happening to those who tried, albeit they began with a semi-valid motive. These guys you speak of have no motive.
