  • During acute phase of wheezing, keep a hot towel over chest and shoulder after every half an hour, which will have a sedative effect on nerves and relaxing influence generally.
  • Hot water when sipped little by little provides relief.
  • Inhalation of steam is very effective in relieving spasms.
  • Turmeric paste used as a poultice on chest is very soothing.
  • During acute phase, drink some hot water with a clove of garlic in it.
  • The rhizomes of turmeric are to be baked in hot sand slightly and made into fine powder. This is to be taken twice daily with sugar. (Minimum 3gms).
  • Mustard oil is also a good remedy. Take a spoonful with jaggery twice a day helps relieving wheezing cough.

dnt u knw that its not gud to use much tablts nd inhlr wen got weez
    thats a load of bull.
While large doses of ventoline tablets is indeed not good, there's nothing wrong with using the inhaler as it interacts with the relevant glands immediately and does not enter the blood stream like the tablets.

BTW, are you using a phone to access this site ?

I suffer from the wheeze since I was 7 or 8 so I know something about it and the use of ventoline.
From the remedies given there, NONE works as fast or as effectively as a ventoline inhaler and except for that inhaling steam, the others doesnt do any good at all.

there's no complete cure as its an allergy. The only available cure is to take a different type of an inhaler which induces the body to not to get wheezing attacks. Since early this year I'm using that and so far I've not got any wheezing attacks.
