Ok machan for 300,000 you can buy Old CBR 250RR
Honda discontinued CBR 250 version from 1998 or around that. So you are buying like 10 years old technology. Less spare parts and they are not in production anymore. So its totally out of date machine. If you really need more power of 250cc engine by sacrificing all other things then go for CBR 250RR

If not its clearly R15 from all other aspects. You can change the rear tyre and put more big one if you like. But will consume more fuel and reduce the performance of the bike.

If you can wait like year or 2 then bajaj gonna assemble Kawasaki Ninja 250R in India. Its the same Ninja 250R not an indian product. But will cost well over 500,000

You totally mistaken machan don't compare Yamaha R15 to indian manufactures like Bajaj, Hero Honda etc.. Its even far better than indian Yamaha bikes like Gladiator etc..

    If you check the site
    http://www.yamaha-motor-india.com/r15/index.html

Its totaly designed and tested in Japan and released to indian market by Yamaha.
As you already know there are no market for 150cc or 250cc sport bikes in western countries. Thats why honda discontinued CBR and Suzuki also, Only Kawasaki still making 250s. So thats why they making to asian markets.
Honda also released a 125cc bike to india called CBF Stunner 125cc.
    Check this..
    hondacbfstunnerphoto1wg6.jpg

In the other hand you said you are buying a 2002 CBR Fireblade. There is no CBR 250 model in 2002 those are all just old bikes with body kits.
Our ppl buy CBRs looking at ODOmeter thinking wow this thing has done only 5000kms. How can atleast 10 year old bike used in Japan only has done 5K
May be rarely there are few. But mostly srilankan bike importers just change the ODO. Thosedays in japan CBR 250s are used to distribute pizza or small learning bike not as any sport bike.

Anyway if you really wanna talk about Jap 250s now only Kawasaki Ninja 250R
left in production. And 2008 model just amazing.
