why most of the ppl here against SIRASA?????

there been so many trends posted by anti Sirasa fans...so i thought of posting just to show ppl wuts going on...yes i watch sirasa more than other channels in SL. probable most of the ppl will call me a sirasa fan, LTTE and all the bullshit they wanna tell. but in reality most of them also watch sirasa tv... if they saying no i dare them to prove..

im not related to sirasa or anything or im not a hardcore tv person or im not LTTE. i am just a normal civilian who watch tv for the entertainment purpose and to been updated abut things.

so i thought wut sirasa has done so far. i think they hv come up vth so many new things. ya good and bad but i mostly think good. its hard to c da good side of things than seen da bad side. ok 1st i dont agree vth ran depaya(gon depaya) too.its bit too much.

lets c some of the programs and projects sirasa tv came up vth,

Sirasa super star and other reality shows.
certain political discussions.
Cartoons. specially dub in sinhala
Awesome poya day dramas.
Good discussions.. specially religious 1s.
live telecast of games in many sports
good old sinhala movies.
new and old good international movies too.
Promoting up coming Sl music industry.


these are few poped up to ma mind.

and think of the programs other channels doing?? mostly copied from sirasa.. wut u guys think?? correct me if im wrong. are they doing anything new???????? how many ppl watch other channels and how many ppl watch sirasa???? has sirasa copied anything from other channels?????(correct me if im wrong) from good morning Sri lanka to rasa risi gee, other channels copied.

examples - after sirasa did long teledramas all the other channels started doing..
after sirasa super star every channel came up vth a reality show..
after rasa risi gee other channels came up vth so many chart shows..
after looks like all the chanels came up vth promoting new music
after katura and api nodanna live other channels copied dat too..
even when sirasa news presenters wear short skrts othrs did da same

and v all kno that there is many more...

so wut u guys think??? do v hv to band Sirasa???? and if v hv to why its not done yet??? is it bcoz sirasa hosting the poya dharma desanawa live from presidents house??? or is it bcoz if they ban sirasa there not gona b a channel that other channels copy???

if sirasa is bad will all the artists in music,drama and movie industry join their programs???? ppl like Amaradeva, Late Gamini foneska, malani fonseka...

if sirasa is bad will all the profs in sri lanka join their programs????

if sirasa is bad will all the sports stars join their programs???? likes of bandula warnapura,susanthika, ranil abenayaka, shan wikrama..

if sirasa is bad will our president invite them to telecast his poya day program(vthout choosing other government channels)????


so guys dont blame sirasa for everything...think properly b4 u make a decision...
im not saying to support them or they are rite.its up to u to do it..

most of these rumors against sirasa i spread by other channels.. coz they cant giv a good competition to sirasa.

i mean end of the day v all hv a brain and there is a switch in our tv which v can use to change the channel or off the tv..

and Still sri lankas number1 channel is Sirasa...

so how???

First of all, I also watch sirara. That's why I can say what I've said already. Also at most of the times, it contains the best to see while other channels are bulshiting. But that doesn't mean that sirasa always do the best. I've also said that I have no comments about the talents inside sirasa. All this is about the Underlayered (Yati pela) things that sirasa does.
Ofcourse Sirasa is the key channel in sri lanka. There is no doubt about it. They always comes up with new stuff that blast ppls minds and making them addicted.
Well, you've done a great work well analyzed. But you've also missed the point. It's true that all the other channels are copying sirasa. That's just because of the same reason. Those other channel runners are same as the sirasa addicts. They just don't think new stuff. Just without thinking of the good and bad things, they just copy whatever sirasa does. The point is that they even can't do it correct.
About anti sirasa fans (it's your word), Well as you mentioned I don't think none of those talkers including me are rumours laid by other channels. My opinion is that they can't even think of something like that to make them promoted.
Finally, I like to thank you for starting a thread like this cos this has opened a way to think of the topic differently. It's your right to bear whatever you think. It's all the other's right to think about what you've said and think twice before make a decision.
