Actually buying a mid range card an upgrading every year is cheaper than going for the best.

Say you bought a 9600GT instead of a 9800GTX now. 9600GT is less than half the price of a 9800GTX. In another year, the next generation midrange cards will be available for the same price as a current 9600GT, but will be faster than the 9800GTX. So by that time, you will have a faster card than a 9800GTX, but in the end you would have spent less (also taking into account the inflation, power bills, other costs such as having good cooling, bigger PSU etc. )

u r correct machan...but 4 dat well for me i need to do a job and earn money by my
self,then only i can even hope to do this....i cant and dont wanna ask from my parents for every year updates 4 my pc that needs lot of cash[even thats why i got a 8500GT instead of 8800GT,cause simply its cheap and affordable to my parents,cause they r spending lot to my tution]

but to earn more money i need to wait more like 6-7 years[my hope is to going to medical faculty]and simply i need to wait hell of time to get a new vga

im just telling my thoughts.

First type "Frames Per Second" and google it to learn what it is, then download a software called FRAPS install it and run it in the background when playing games... see the numbers appear in yellow color while you play the game.. then you can get an idea of your FPS!! or you can also ask FRAPS to create a detailed report on your FPS..explore the application a bit and see!!
