hmm.. i remember overclocking my old fx5200 sometime back. well, i don't really know whether it can be called overclocking. but anyway, what i did was that i got a ROM image of a fx5500 and flashed mine with that one and windows took it to be 5500. had to use a cooling fan. (fx5200 doesn't come with one.)

it did work without giving much trouble though.
