This is shans.Note that 450W PSU is a generic one.He cant get 450W from That.

Anyway this is not so accurate. I checked the components separately.

CPU = 26-44W
Motherboard = no idea, but less than 25W because it's a 965 bases board
RAM = operatioanl 1.296x2 + 1.872 = 4.464W, say 5W
VGA = 20-60W (X800GTO 18-48, X850XT 26-66W so mine should be somewhere in the middle, more towards X850XT's)
Hard drive = 13W max
DVDRW = 22W max (if not operational, negligible)
FAN = 80mm @ 7V = 1.05W
Monitor = 37W max
Mouse = 0.5W
Keyboard = 0.5W

So basically, my whole PC would use 208W max!!! In idle state, it will use around 100-120W.

Theoritically that might be.But u hav to plu in a amp meter to the power line to check how much power u use actually.They say they hav done it.

These are NOT theoretical values. These are actual values gathered from various sites.

But PSU efficiency will affect here. But we set it to 100% in that form. That's not accurate at all.

Thats system load.Not the PSU efficiency.I think that means when the system uses all its things at the same time with all the CPU cycles etc.(thats impracticable like)

Seems you are correct. But, that's not only impractical, but also false. What's the system load actually means? Every component is not used the same way and/or at the same time.

Yes thats true.I wanted to put that on coz that will be the maximum use.power usage will be about 2/3 of that most of the time.
