CPU+VGA eats the power a lot in most cases.In my case OCed CPU+VGA @ 100% needs 190W equals half the load.So one needs to lower the power shud save his CPU cycles and Huge graphic works.

U can OC and get that performance.But dont compare with a Sandiego 3700+.It has 1MB cache.So leave it out.Also to save power u can go for a venice core 3000+,then OC into mine-3200+.3000+will be 8k @ Mathara and 3200+ will be 17.5k @ EPSI.

Its goin clawhammer OCed 2500 means 500MHz increase and thats 25% increase.

Can be OCed but the power wastage will be huge+temps.Not much OCable too.But can be a little much.

Wouldn't people overclock for fun these days?
Besides, at 6x AA nad 16x AF, I don't think it will bottleneck the CPU at all

65W doesn't mean it's using 65W. This is a safe value only.
Besides, if you don't increase the VCore, it will not increase that much. Maybe 10-15W at max.

Factory OCed one.BTW it'll jump up and down in performance stages so hav to play sumthin hard to get the max juice out.CPU is OCed for testing to that bottleneck prob.Anyway If I can get rid of this CPU I'll get in with an X2.same power more performance.
