How often do u re-install windows?

yeah.. + vista gets installed in less thn 20 mins ne... Ny way after re-installing I install all the latest s/w... So.... naaah.. no point in using an image

Still in XP? Y? Vista is now ok.. Remember u saying earlier tht u think there might b som issues with programming tools if my memory is right? But i think nw Vista is cool with all those stuff in their new versions ne?

I think u should use restore imaging if ur using XP. It only takes 1Gb 4 me with medium compression. And restores Exactly in 106 seconds. I timed it

wht if SW installed take upto 15-20GB ... imaging wont be a good decision ne

Well machan what we r mostly expecting from restoring an image is Cut down the time of intalling windows nee. And my image containes all critical SW that i need.
Cant u install those heavy SWs after that it wont take that much time nee....

happa then images wont help u thama.. i only use pc 4 entertainment,small softs so images comes in handy 4 me

This time I'm gonna hold onto this installation as long as I can. It's already 1 month 7 days old. That's huge!!!
Anyway, I don't usually reinstall from the scratch. I just restore a working image and install the software missing from it.

usaully once a month but i've reinstalled windows/Linux 4,5 times a day even
But i dont mess with reinstalling when i have my exams just like now.
