how to connect to internet through a cdma phone in vista/ubuntu

i have a suntel CDMA phone with ETS2251 modem.i can connect with out a problem in Xp but in vista it doesn't recognize the modem.if some one have the drivers or know how to connect it please post it.

I am a total beginer in ubuntu,so if you know how to connect it in ubuntu please tell it step-by-step in the simplest way

I found the way. Just go to device manger,go to the "Actions" menu, select "add legacy hardware" and select the modem manually.hope anyone who was looking for this got the answer.
