How true is Rebirth?​

Rebirth or reincarnation is a belief that some essential part of a living being (in some variations only human beings) survives death to be reborn in a new body. This essential part is often referred to as the Spirit or Soul, the 'Higher or True Self', 'Divine Spark' and various other labels.

Many spiritual paths believe in rebirth/reincarnation: Hinduism (including Yoga, Vaishnavism, and Shaivism), Jainism, Taoism, Sikhism, Kabbalah, Sufism, Gnosticism and Esoteric Christianity, as well as Buddhist.

So to answer your question, how true is rebirth? Well, that depends on your spiritual path and your beliefs. I personally hold it as very true

As far as I know Traditional Christians & Muslims Don't B'live it but if you carefully investigate you can find in Jesus's teachings as well

If you look really closely at how rebirth is described in buddhism rebirth doesn't have to be another life. infact, I find this whole idea of being reborn into another body nonsensical, but I will leave that for another time. According to the panchaskanda interpretation, our experiential reality is marked by instantaneous bursts of momentary consciousness, vinjanna, each distinct from one another yet connected through sanskara. From this perspective we are reborn every instant. This perspective has the added advantage of being congruous with what neuroscience seems to be saying these days.
