Quite true... Most of the inward remittances are by this category of people. The earnings of "Professionals" are banked elsewhere.
Sadly these people are the least recognized. Even at our airports they are treated badly by our own staff.

The respective governments squandered their remittances and lived in luxury. Had we properly managed these funds we wouldn't be in this mess.
Our embassy staff in the ME are useless. We don't have "Diplomats" anymore.. Politicization of our Foreign Service replaced them with "Diplomutts"
The Philippines Government has set a non-negotiable minimum salary for their domestic workers in the Gulf. What have we done?
