But, a U3 is such a pain in the ass!!! I hate that autorun. Most people I know formatted their drives after getting fed-up by those nosy appz.

who cares abt looks?? But I will buy a U3, coz I think it has a perfomance difference with normal ones, isnt it?

I care about the looks but never measure things frm the looks.
U3 drives have the same performance I think.But inserting a one into a pc that never has been a U3 was connected , will take a minute to install u3 launcher and settings on that pc.After that it is like a normal drive with much ease coz u dont have to got my computer to open the drive,see it is space left like things.Too u can carry programs like winrar,anyreader,openoffice suite with you so u wont get troubled doin ur things on another pc.
For example I have folder named zoft in my u3 that is about 75 MB,which has little useful apps ready to run or install like utorrent,unlocker,azureus,tcpoptimizer,usbdatarecovery,getdataback ,singlish,standard sinhala fonts etc..I have installed winrar,anyreader,skype,firefox,thunderbird on u3.
When not installed openoffice u3 is 76 mb.when installed it is 222MB.So if u want carry it without installing that will save ur space.
After installing softs and making custom folders and apps[in my case clamwin antivirus and zoft folder] make a copy of the whole drive into your hdd.So after formatting the flash u dont want to install them back.just copy them on to flash.

I've had a Transcend JetFlash 512MB frm India and I sold it.
And to tell u the truth prize isnt much different in singapore and SL in phones and flashes..

No. I thinkKingston just made data traveller into U3 by adding that bios..

And dont worry about that sea!There r fishermen and SLNS Dakshina to watch it for us..
