I am confused about the LTTE attack

Earlier they said A bomb is dropped at Inland Revenue office... then One which was flying near the Air force camp is being shot... I wonder why did the LTTE plane did not avoid the camp...
They said one escaped...
And now they say it is another air craft has fallen on the inland revenue building.. All this comes from Govt sources..
What is true... ?
Why couldn't they figure out it was a plane which crashed on IR office..

Can someone explain...

Dude..Who da Heck can tell a Plane Crashed Untill the debris are cleard...
So One plane Crashed at katunayaka... after the Fire was extinguished they found the Second Plane Crashed at back of the revenue building....
may be there was a 3rd Plane....Who knows For Observations of the Security in Colombo..and to report the situation back to their HQ or so called HQ
IF there was a Big explosion Suddenly can u tell if it was a bomb or a plane crash.......at night there wasn't any electricity !
MIlitary thought that it was a bomb that exploded.....it was Bomb+Plane

i saw that mistake on Defence.lk, its says the plane crashed to IR, but the plane crashed near the IR and befor it was show down i droped a bomb to IR
