Hi, here's something different and amazing. I just found the biggest Prime Number ever. I'm posting this in English in case a proof is needed one day.
My Prime Number is much bigger than current record holder Mercenne 51st. Of course my PC is too feeble to verify it, and probably even current supercomputers would take quite long, but I have a very good feeling that it is indeed Prime.
So the entire point of this thread is to have some proof and a witness that I found it first. The amazing thing is, it's quite close to the first 7 digits of Pi!! It's doubly exciting because today is Ramanujan's birthday. Of course he's a South Asian just like me.
So let's cut to the chase. The number is,
2^314,159,257 - 1
I think you can already recognize the first 7 Pi digits in there. Simplest check for the number 314,159,257 is okay because it is Prime. (easily verified) It passes all other basic Primality checks I have done. Do please verify this yourself too if you want.
As you might know, the current biggest verified Prime is M51 or 2^82,589,933 - 1. My number is way more bigger than that. Therefore, properly verifying this as a Prime Number will probably take a lot of time, too long in fact with current computing power.
However, one day the computing power will get there. If and when that happens, this post will stand as a witness that I found it first. My the exact time I found and posted about it was on 22nd of December, 2021, at 5.51pm IST (GMT+5.30). Below is the link to the Facebook post that I'll keep as a verification for the moment.
