New displays are pretty good at avoiding this but it's still an issue. Basically if you leave static image for long time this will be an issue. So screensaver is recommended. We have a oled TV in out office(installed 2020) I can see BBC logo burned in.

I got Asus ROG Strix G513 AMD Advantage Edition gaming laptop. Full AMD gaming laptop. Laptop cost £1500 + £180 for 2TB NVMe SSD and £164 for 64GB RAM. Total £1844

Specifications

CPU: 8-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800M with 12GB of GDDR6
RAM: 64GB DDR4 3200MHz
Display: 15.6-inch, FHD (1920×1080) IPS-level 300Hz panel with FreeSync
Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD
Power : 280W AC adapter
OS: Windows 11 Pro

RAM/SSD I upgraded my self. I got the Full HD display option as its higher refresh rate.

RAM upgrade increases my performance by nearly 10-15%. Original Asus installed ram bottleneck the performance.

Hm... Interesting... but this will not happen in a day or two isnt it? as per the Quora they are saying that it will be starts to happen after few years. any way, had to think again. this is the same issue that had in Galaxy S series i think...

Same as galaxy S. Same display type. It will happen gradually if you keep same image for long time. That's why I recommend screen saver.

I got this for gaming and work. I'm running VM so need 64gb ram
