pixel and vertex shader versions are not 2.0. There are no ATI Vista

You can use XP drivers. Vista WDDM drivers are required specifically to get the DWM features. For a non-aero config, you don't need WDDM drivers. The usual XP drivers should work. (well, they worked in the Vista beta days)

Rather, it was the FX5200 equivalent card from ATI, BUT without DX9 support. (On FX5200, DX9 support was only a "statement" anyway )

yea .. preloaded drivers on the Vista disc can be used, but they say it'll displays the basic interface..

Yes, you are limited to Vista Basic Theme. Vista Basic Theme sux more than XP's imo.

By default it did. Got a rating of 3.0 for aero interface... gaming graphics was 2.5 i think...

You have to rate it. 1 is the minimum Vista gives. So... what the hell
