tharinda07 said:Recently, Mr. Anthony has addressed the public in University of Jayawardenapuara. Based on my information he said there, “he is a Sinhala Buddhist even though he is born as a Christian to his Catholic farther & Mother”.
Now he is trying to tell us not to consider his birth/blood to believe him as a “Sinhala Buddhist”. But he has changed the blood of PANUDABA (PANDUKABAYA) to “Yakkha Tribe” by his movie without any historical facts.
How can he ask us to see him as a Sinhala Buddhist? Please check the interview given by his WIFE to Sunday Observer…

“Conganiege Joseph Malsy Jackson Anthony was born to C.Benedict Anthony, a Foreman at the Electricity Board and Ethmadalage Rollin Perera at Ragama as the second of their five sons. Jackson had his education first at St.Mary’s College, Kandana. He entered Galahitiyawa Central College for A/Ls where Kumari too happened to be one of the students in his parallel classes.”
“He came from a strong Roman Catholic background, and mine was an ardent Buddhist one. Naturally the both families were opposed,” she reminisces.
“In order to satisfy his family Jackson asked Kumari to get herself Baptised.”

Can we believe Mr.Anthony as a “Sinahala Buddhist”?
Can he be a Sinhala Buddhist in such easy way still being a Catholic?
The history “Mr.Anothony is destroying these days”, has written by “Sinhala Bhikkus”. Why do we allow this person to make such statements in front of our people?
