It is a mission I have started to compile information of our motherland, well as you all know there are ample number of websites and blogs covering about Sri Lanka, but all of those lacks patriotism, that's one speaking about his/her nation so proudly,all the blogs and sites out there resembling our country has information just set forth with statistics, without opinoions and or intrests of the locales, this project is a totally different one,
Here what we do is,
One will start about the place they live in,
and explains they locale and the environment,
the activities of the people living in the surrounding and their attitdues,
What they do for a Living,
Etc,
Basically just write what you really know about the area you're living,
If it is a rural area please do also give the exact locations and give a small detail about the nearest city, if you happen to know about the city please do write a small detail or let a friend of your in that city help you.
The best part of this project is to speak of your neighbourhood with your feelings,
also you are most welcome to discuss important sites, locations of great historical importance, important religious places, sacred places and tourist attractions in your neighbourhood.
It would be more meaningful and colourful and also add vividness to your description, if you can post picutres and videos to your descritions.
Last but not least, if you happen to find your neighbourhood already being spoken about by another person, you are most welcome to add the missing bits and pieces to his description,thus making the descripton more complete.
