heres my Q.... when i start the system... some kind of a crazy installer is tryng to install somethng called tray applications... i can't cancel it... close it even by alt+F4, I hav to run desktop manager and close it... this came after i used XP Repair Pro 2007..

Try to run System restore programme in programme files.
Start>programmes>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
Restore your computer to early time.I think this will work.Unless tell me I will tell you another way to do.

Thanks, I saw your answer today.It would not work bcos i turned off system restore to get space.Do u know any other way to do it (using registries or a software)?

Do you try to right click on your task bar and go to properties and go to start menu and use classic start menu. E mail me

got a prob,, i have 3 hard drivers in 6 partition..all r work perfectly but,,there is 1 partition,,when i try to copy from it or,copy to there ,,whole machine get slow.and y is that ,,i tried formating that ,,but still,,,

Check this solution

Start -> my computer -> right click -> manage -> storage -> disk management

This will show the health of your hard drive and you can release or extend this partition

i recon not to use FDISK while you are having your data or if you havent done a backup of ur files to a different hard drive

Gr8.Here is the prob.
I hav a Compaq Presario 2500 series lap.(2555 AP) Keyboard is malfunctioning.Some keys dont work randomly and some keys repeated without touching them.Problem is with the dumb connector made by Foxconn which is in a heat zone in a lap.Due to heating-cooling-heating going in the lap, the ribbon is kind of bent in the connecting zone I think.Replacing the KB will cost me 7.5k .How can I fix the ribbon?Can cut off but dont knw how to do it :S
