Premio looks better from outside than a FD4?

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everything but come on. :dull:

No no, I also love honda. even a 10-15 year old honda still look solid than most of toyota, i agree. I just compared the look between your friends car and the one advertised in ikman.lk. At least the one in ikman has better head lamps  (im just comparing the outside look. please dont get pissed off. Your friends car is still a beauty )

Insurance claims differ when car gets older. I had to replace the windscreen of my previous Alto and Insurance settled the amount in full at agent's workshop like 45K in 2014. Car was less than 5 years old at the time. Story is different if it's older than 5. Depends on the policy and insurer as well.

PS; Actually I replaced the windscreen due to a small crack after hitting a small rock. If someone actually checked the insurance records would think it had met a major accident.

you have to go to the market and see what is their prices, other than talking like Superman...:rofl::rofl:
the best is go to an insurance company and ask how much is their maximum for this kind of repairs and you can get a better idea than talking here

Macho, we did not talk about what Insurance companies offer. I am talking about real cost. I am talking with one of my unfourtunate experiences. For a front bumper with fog lamps, for paint and other labor stuff it anyway cost 1+. You may get it cheaper from majan bass places anyway.

I do agree that headlights of the FD4 needs a restoration... a simple buff and wax would do the trick

that's total different story, that's called depreciation and if a vehicle is older than 5 years you need to face depreciation percentage and its different from company to company.

total cost based on what offers by the garage, goto TL or Stafford and ask price for paint for buffer and you will get the price, that what all insurance companies offer and depend on the depreciation you have to pay the balance. this is my 7th car and i have gone through on all the processes and wijerama, sri lanka insurance, Stafford motors is like my second home...

I know what depreciation means but if the vehicle doesn't fall into that category why would someone hunt cheap ass Taiwan parts when he can buy the originals?
