Importing a Honda Fit

Machnla I want to Import a Brand New/ Recondition Honda Fit these are my Questions.

* Whats a LC and is that the only requirement I need when I'm going to import the car I might need Import/Export License ?
* What is the Min Year I can export
* what is the Tax/Vat etc and Does it differ to Brand New and Reconditioned ?
*How do I collect the car when It comes to Hambantota/Colombo Port ?

Anyways don't you you need a licence or something to import vehicles to SL? Or is it only for the people who import vehicles in bulk?

Letter of Credit , Need a Bank Account from the relevant you going to Open the LC (NTB,BOC)

No License Needed.

Valid Proforma Invoice from the Dealer

* What is the Min Year I can export - Car should not be Older than 3 years from the Date of First Registration

* what is the Tax/Vat etc and Does it differ to Brand New and Reconditioned ?

For GP5 - Categorized as Used car Duty is 29.90 lkhs Unit Tax applied

*How do I collect the car when It comes to Hambantota/Colombo Port ?

With the help of Clearing Agent , Some Documentation needs to be done
