You can install the closed source (still free) version on Ubuntu and get USB support as well.

you get better performance with virt-manager and kvm. Both are available on Ubuntu.
BTW, accessing internet on a windows virtual machine without virus guard is still dangerous.
virt-manager & kvm, both of the softwares need Intel VT(Intel® Virtualization Technology) or AMD-V.My prosa (E4600) does not support that technology.Thefore i cannot use this software.
