My Motherboard (MS-7501) Supports Dual DDR2 533/667/800/1066 Memory. Currently I have a 1GB DDR2 667 module installed, im planning to install another 2GB Ram which is 800 speed.( 667 is no more available)
Will this work? I heard sm ppl say it is possible but the 800 Ram will run on 667 speed, & sum ppl say both will not work at all. Please advice. How can i Do this.
Thanx in advance.

U'r New RAM will Run at 667MHz and they should work ;)
But its better to get 2 of 800MHz RAM and remove the old one:)

mchn it will run on 667mhz speed even though u have 800mhz.bocz of your pc timing. But in some cases if you just plug in the 800mhz one pc wont boot up if u ddnt change ram timing manually on your board.I prefer you better sell your 667 and buy anther 800mhz one.

Depending on the mother board and the slot selection, both will not work or will run at 667Mhz speed
