Hey guys.. some of you may be knowing this but for those who dont.. these broadband packages which says Fair Usage Policy (FUP) does not apply actually are being monitored without informing the customer.
The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC) has directed that the employees of the revalant companies submit a report on Heavy Users.. if it continues it will be reported to the TRC and then only the customer will be informed.. Heavy Users are considered to be ones with something like around 30 - 40 movies a month..
Actually its a directive of the TRC that FUP has been introduced into most of these packages as an initiative to reduce traffic..
well if you want my source.. i spoke to employees of coupla broadband companies..
