You need a copy of your passport, 3 passport size photographs, Sri Lankan driving license and a 2 photocopies.

Go to AACeylon (In front of Ramada) You don't need an appointment, it's first come first serve basis.

Submit your application with supporting documents.
Pay the fee of Rs. 11,100/= (Card payments are also accepted)
They will take 4 days to issue your IDP and meanwhile they will also keep your SL driving license.
