I don't think is a good idea.because Canada every where have wireless internet ,Wi -Fi,all the network covering cross canada.I think better to have normal 3g phone.

there is no microsims here. you can use normal sim as a micro sim by cut off the unwanted parts.
This is what dialog GSM does.
