Police have received information that Amarasinghe is also connected to drug trafficking.
At the time of her arrest, she had 100 mg of heroin in her hand bag.
She was arrested on July 02 at a hotel in Bogahamaditta, where she had been with a man.
Another suspect arrested, Pathirana Arachchige Nalinda Sampath, aged 35 years and a resident of Uduwara in Haliela, too, is linked to the murder of the actor.
He had 13 warrants against him over housebreaking in Badulla, Bandarawela, Welimada and possession of hand grenades.
The suspects are to be produced before courts.
Badulla police are investigating on the advice of Uva DIG Roshan Fernando.
