Is malabe medical faculty good?

IT SEEMS BRO YOU ARE ILL INFORMED!
1)even in the gvnmt medical faculties they duration is 5 yrs non of the lacal medical faculties closed due to any disturbances in the las 15 to 20 years but other faculties ( art, biology, microbio etc) did
closed!
2) If they can give the degree by the end of 5 yrs to all, will there not be any fail students? then there will be a big suspicion about the quality of doc they are going to produce!
3) there are no such 4 yrs to wait to do postgraduates! who tell you that?
After 1 yr from the comlpetion of internship, (no matter whether you got the proper appnment soon after the finishing of the internship or 5,6 months after the internship,) you can sit for postgraduate exams and start working as a trainee if you were selected!
this doesnt mean I am opposing private mad schools1
They are good and needed but should be in high standard!

The overwhelming majority of students are from poor families, so it is utterly false to claim that opening private universities will provide opportunities for students unable to enter government universities.

Bach log in the colombo fac will be solved within few years dear!(Still with batch log i dont think it goes beyond Max 6yrs!)
then it will be reversed back to original 5 yr duration. Early IBS batches were able to finish the course even in less than 5 yrs! all these batch logs were due to the 88/89 JVP bullshits!

Do you know how badly ppl hate doctors now in SL just bcos of this wrong ATTITUDE? I dont say everyone is like this. But this is a true fact that we can see everyday life. And its not only for Doctors. may be applicable for some other things too. everyone needs everyones' help some day or another.

yes there is a false with SOME (not All) doctors and I know its' does same in the other professions as well unfortunately if a doctor done a mistake it will be highlighted as community expect the most adorable behavior from the doctors which some doctors failed to carry out so!
In this thread not only doctors, other professions too show how pathetic their attitudes are! most who reply in this thread never show any respect to others profession! what a pity!
Finally its big erosion in the society's norms & values affecting all the professions!

you are still think that the doctors are some kind of god and they own the patent! in our country, doctors have managed to gain that image, but in other countries, doctors aint that kind of god like people. they are just another profession. they live a normal life.

and the other thing is, im not criticizing the modern medicine! of course there are no other people to take medical treatments, we cant get it from the local police station or from the mechanic!!! Even I also go to doctors when I'm sick (where else i have to go? )


And thats not a superiority of doctors! but they believe in that way!!! since they are the one and only people capable of treating patents, they use that as a advantage. they get together and start strikes.. a lot of highly pregnant mothers who came to hospitals was died during this time with their babies, innocent people with serious needs for treatments was died during this time...

and the one and only way to get a treat (if there was any) was from the private section (of course for the rich people!)



Now you know how doctors gain those high salary and the BIG GOD IMAGE?


doctors doesnt own patents just because they are the only group of people capable of treating an illness...

do u know that a doc has a militory rank equivalent to a SSP in police,2nd lietanant in army,Commodore in airforce & anothr rank in the navy which i cnt remember..have u checked closely in a checkpoint that they always give a stamp with their feet when they know it's a doc's vehicle....police only salute lawyers cos they want underhand favours from them & not cos of true respect as many policemen have told me from time to time...docs get priority treatment by all 4 forces...Unlike lawyers

Even with the lawyers & law,where is law & order in the society?/the number of patients who die at the hand of docs for a whole year die due to murders in our country in a single day....

Welcome guys, you can type all your bull s**** ideas here. I wonder how many of these ppl live in Sri Lanka. Here in SL docs are treated as god b/c ppl can live any how without any other profession but medical as well as its sooooo hard to become a doc here unless ur parents have money to afford non gov education. There are criminals in every level of sociaty. No acception on docs, lawyers or anyother. That doesn't mean their profession is bad. The only profession I dislike other than killing for money is lawyer. Justifying a crime is far worse than doing the crime.
