Tikak wadiy machn. Habai eka degree eka wagema umbage skills and technologies matha depend wenawa.
Umba sira waddeknam umbata 3rd year out wuna kiyala na salary eka illala yanna puluwan.ehema giya ayath innawa.

Umbata harima ewa danaganna onnam ekko UCSC ekekgen ahapan. Dan industry eke inna kenekgennam waada hondai. Wena degree karala anik ewa pahath karala katha karanna balan inna ungen nam ahala wadak na ithn.

it depends. if a 3yr personal is highly skilled than 4 yr person he/she might even get a larger package. in software development field what mostly matter is the ability of the person with experience. If there are 2 ppl, 1 from 3yr and 1 from 4 yr with same skillset, the person who has a 4yr degree has a good chance of getting a good salary package than 3yr. For SE it can vary from 10K-30K

In 2015 I went for, FIT future careers, to represent my current employee as an interviewer, and I know the level in Mora CSE, UCSC CS and Mora IT. So don't bluff.

Because people who did maths for their ALs should choose CS before IT. There is a reason why IT allows BIO people in.

Depends Based on what u r interested in mchan. If u expect the degree to give u everything, it will not take u anywhere. Its really nice to see someone having a clear idea on what he is going to do and trying to get prepared.
a fundamental programming knowledge is a must. First try to get the basic concepts.
Then you can focus on identifying the area u r willing to continue. For that, first two years give you more than basic understanding. Still i suggest you to learn atleast the basics of some(networking, database, web development...) while u wait at home till u get the letter. U will understand what to master by doing that(what ur heart asks from u ). Whatever u choose, keep urself uptodate with the latest trends and technologies under that.
I knw this is a tough ask if u have no idea in CS or IT,
BUt i can assure u by the time u start the degree u can continue mastering whatever u want without being stressed about academics.

Dude you are talking like an A/L guy. try to understand this .

Most of the ppl passed out from UCSC , are 3 yr holders. So , as it is a CS degree you should put some basic CS fundamentals in there syllabus. therefore what includes in your first 3 years are

DS & Algos
Programming fundementals with python (so high level )
Descrete mathemtics
Automata

That's all.

When it comes to Mora IT , since it is four year one,

they offer all above in their first two years except automata theory. Mora IT got 30% of bio ppl per their intake. In above subjects, Some BIO ppl do better than Maths ppl. From A/L subjects, A/L Physics is the most important subject dude. it makes you a real thinker, that's why they ask for physics with two other science subjects.
Since Mora IT 4 year , electives come to the play in last two years, then most of the maths ppl has done automata, theory of computability n complexibility, Theory of compilers, Natural language processing, Fuzzy logic
and another 5 subjects their. some bio ppl done those too and got first classes dude. Don't underestimate BIO guys im maths guy but not like you Some of the above subjects are not included in you 4 year one too ..

If you are going to talk about A/L Maths, moratuwa IT got 80% ppl who has A, B,B and A,A,B(colombo) , and UCSC i know B,C,C and B,B,B most of them. so dude don't go for A/Ls when there is no considerable difference between

In SL , real CS is their in Mora CSE and Real tronic in Mora Electronic and Wayamba university(not engineering but some of the best contents).
