but , Mr jayawardhana has made some political mistakes...(or he did not seem to be aware of some internal party facts)
the first one was the , rising of Christian wing in the party headed by Ranil. Those who hated the sinhala buddhist culture have joined to this group...Most of them are from colombo based urbanite elite who had have not any nationalist ideals..
The second one was the, rising of thuggery and corrupted wing. This group has been quasi headed by R.Premadasa and sirisena coorey..
Another critical man, Ranjan wijerathna has kept his assets in accordance with these two groupings....
But the sadest thing was the "Unp was to be transformed into a corrupted, anti-nationalsit party"..
(in to Which entirely defferent from its origins..)
The educated , nationalist and active wing of the UNP , which composed by Gamini and Lalith got sided. But not by the JR..BUT BY THE CONSPIRACY OF OTHER TWO FACTIONS
and then in 1987 the uthopian revolutionary JVPers have started the terrorist acts, starting an another grusome political era of the Sri lankan history
