A Japan Airlines plane has burst into flames as it landed on the runway at Tokyo's Haneda Airport.
Footage from public broadcaster NHK showed flames coming out of the windows of an aircraft.
NHK is reporting the Japanese Coast Guard said one of their aircraft may have collided with the flight JL 516.
It says one member aboard the coast guard aircraft escaped.
The remaining five members and the coast guard aircraft have been found, but their condition is unknown, Reuters said citing Kyodo News who had spoken to the Tokyo Fire Department.
