thanks aiya;how can we learn programming?self studying or at any institute?what about oppertunities?i've done Basic,Pascal,VB when i was a kid;After AL how can we become a good programmer?should we work for a company or do it own self?
i heard something called Virtusa is a great place

Yep after the degree many of my friends joined Virtusa. Well according to them they have to work late hours. I dont know anything else about the place regarding the salaries and all. Could be a bit less than the industry norms.

To be a good programmer always work on your own. Internet is a very good learning resources like e-books and forums. Try those and learn. Never expect an institution or a university to spoon feed u on programming. Its never gonna happen. So learn on your own. Join a study center only as a place to guide you. It cant become your master. I know this by experience.

yep in order to do that, u will have to get the membership of a professional IT body. Like IEEE, Cisco and all. However I recommend a University degree along with it. Thats only to prove ur ability. To really get a hand on whats real programming is about, you have to work on your own.

aniwa defaaaa u have to have a degree....if u cant go to government uni....there are other institutes give those kinds degrees.

thanx ayya.it's only today i typed a whole long page of java coding and only to find a single capital had gone wrong which resulted to display 35 ERRORS .so i quite agree to what you say .your java begining is awful.but when you find the real taste of it?it's simply brilliant!!!!
