Jesus:I can of myself do nothing(John 8:28)
Christians: Jesus is as sovereign and as powerful as God

Yes what he did was his father's wil he has the authority from above

Jesus: I do not know of the Hour(Math 24:36)
Christians: Jesus is all knowing

Yeah as a son he we can say dosn't know the hour, that is not his duty to revealed it

Jesus: why do you call me good, No one is good but God alone.(Mark 10:17-18)
Christians: Jesus god and Good anyway.

Well let me expain it this way who has help us to win this war ? it is Sarath Fonseka? or His Brilient Works? (No politics here ok just for a example) that day you took his briliance and won the war today you jailed "SARATH FONSEKA" so Jesus is right very Good thing we recieve we recieve from the Father (Including Jesus becuase he was 100% man)
jesus: An angel from heaven appeared to him(Jesus) and strengthened him. (Luke 22:43)
Christians: jesus is the source of power
This is another proof that he is 100% God , just think if God's will he could have help Jesus not to feel the pain (just like taking pain killers) bt he didn't do that becuase jesus drink the cup of god grath

I can tell you one thing these concept is very difficult unless you really understanf what exactly Jesus did ? it took 28 year for me to realise then there is no doubt why you guys can not understand

nothing wrong with it as long as you questioned for realisation

Jesus and Islam

Here are six questions that followers of Islam, and others, often ask about Jesus...

This will be a very respectful presentation to anyone who wants to know about Jesus. No challenges. And there will be no criticism of any religion, in any way.

Here are six questions answered in this article:

1. Has the Bible been changed from its original?
2. Does God say that one religion will replace another: Judaism, then Christianity, then Islam?
3. Is it not blasphemy to say God has a Son?
4. Did Jesus die on a cross?
5. If Jesus died on a cross, was God dead for 3 days?
6. Why not view Jesus as a prophet?

My Dear Muslim friend please let me share this article with you , I am asking you because it is going to be a "Copy & Paste" one .

But I Y2k has read it and approved as a valid article from true Christian Sources .......... will you accpet it?

Pls let me know?

Hey Bro ... If he wish he would have had many sons (i Mean the father) bt instead he said Jesus was his only Son from the Histroy we knew there is only one son and Bible say there won't be any other ...that is why we say he is the god's only son actually he doesnt need any other sons because Jesus did wht his fathers accept him to do that is why jesus said before his last breath "It is Finished" (His mission complished!)

Now let me speak as a Normal Human Being ( in our own language)

you wil get marry then you decided to have a baby , then you had a son bt later on you decide my only son is enough for me so until or unless you have ur 2nd child he is your Only son right? :baffled: (bt if you wished you would have many more, you got my point)

"It is Finished"

Bible doesn't not say God will send another son, his one only child capable of doing his duties instead of that he will have his 2nd coming because he defeated the Death and prove that he is the LIFE

I don't understand what u r trying to prove here.hope u merely talking your faith.

SON ALSO MEANS DESCENDANT

It is mentioned in the Gospel of Mathew, Chapter 1 verse 1

"Jesus Christ, the son of David,....".
[Mathew 1:1]

Gospel of Luke Chapter 3, verse 23

"And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, ....."
[Luke 3:23]

DID JESUS (PBUH) HAVE TWO FATHERS?

What do you call a person who has two fathers? The explanation of the phrase that Jesus (pbuh) was the son of David (pbuh), is that Jesus (pbuh) was a descendant of David (pbuh). ‘Son’, here means a descendant.
I am Sorry Im not abusing you & Jesus (PBUH).

The Bible's "original manuscripts had been lost" according to the Christian scholars and theologians, Then how can you keep on defending the bible with your illogical answers. here is the link for your information. just for your thought.

Here are six questions that followers of Islam, and others, often ask about Jesus...

This will be a very respectful presentation to anyone who wants to know about Jesus. No challenges. And there will be no criticism of any religion, in any way.

Here are six questions answered in this article:

1. Has the Bible been changed from its original?
yes thats why its contains scientific errors and contradictions. Not 100% changed.some parts are correpted.Do you know about Council of Nicaea, First Ecumenical Council - 325 A.D. (Christian Era)
2. Does God say that one religion will replace another: Judaism, then Christianity, then Islam?
not replace one other all prophets were preach islam i.e submission of one true God
Say (O Muslims): "We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma`il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya`qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat (the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya`qub), and that which has been given to Musa (Moses) and `Isa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam).'(2:136)

3. Is it not blasphemy to say God has a Son?
Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allâh is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allâh, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allâh, then Allâh has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers.(5:72)

4. Did Jesus die on a cross?
no
5. If Jesus died on a cross, was God dead for 3 days?
jesus never died on cross do you have any proof fron your bible?
6. Why not view Jesus as a prophet?
Jesus is a prophets of Allah
(i) Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).

(ii) We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt).

(iii) We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.

(iv) We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh).

(v) We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission.

(iv) We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission.

The book of the generation - This is the proper title of the chapter. It is the same as to say, "the account of the ancestry or family, or the genealogical table of Jesus Christ." The phrase is common in Jewish writings. Compare Genesis 5:1. "This is the book of the generations of Adam," i. e., the genealogical table of the family or descendants of Adam. See also Genesis 6:9. The Jews, moreover, as we do, kept such tables of their own families. and it is probable that this was copied from the record of the family of Joseph.

yeah there it means the real world descendant

bt Remember Jesus said : I and the father are one, can you say like that? CAn David or Mohumed say like that?

I am the truth, the way and the life no one can come to my father except trough me ? wht the hell is that mean to you ha? (If my Jesus was muslim he would have said "My Father is the truth the way and the life no one can come to my father unless you submit to him ")

Have any of those phopets said like that ? ha

What did God say abt his words? , here are a few statements found in the Bible: "Until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen will by any means disappear, from the Law until everything has been accomplished."

The Word of God will not disappear. Everything in it will be accomplished in its entirety till the very end. Again it states, "Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away."

Also, "All scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness."All scripture is inspired by God.
And, "the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of our God stands forever."

We need to ask ourselves, "Is God able to protect his word? Is God able to fulfill these statements, that his word will never disappear, never go unfulfilled?"

Is God capable? Yes, of course. This is God's word to all people. Are we accusing God himself by saying that He was not able to protect it from being changed?

Nothing has been changed. That is only a rumor.

The Quran does not say the Bible has been changed. Just the opposite. It honors the Torah and the Bible. It mentions the Torah, and the "Zabur" (the Old Testament and Psalms) and the "Injil" (the New Testament) many times.
When Islam began in the 6th century, 600 years after Jesus Christ, the Bible was accepted as true.

So, you might ask, has the Bible changed since the 6th century? No. All you have to do is compare today's Bible with a Bible written long ago.
We can find complete Bibles, all the way back to 300 A.D., hundreds of years before the Quran. You can find one in the London Museum, in the Vatican, and many other places. If you compare today's Bible with the Bibles of 300 A.D., the Bible we have today is the same as then.

Did you know that there exists today nearly 25,000 hand-written copies of portions of the New Testament? As historians have compared these manuscripts, they have concluded that the New Testament we have today is at least 99.5% accurate to the original. No change.

(The .5% differences refer to spelling, but no change in meaning.)
Also, you might be familiar with the more recent archeological findings of the Dead Sea Scrolls. These were found in caves of Qumran, just off the northwest corner of the Dead Sea.

Researchers have compared the Bible we have today with what they found, and they remained highly similar, nearly 100% identical.

Don't let anyone tell you that the New Testament or the Bible has been changed from its original writing. That simply is not historically accurate.

The Bible has not been changed.

Last Word would be : If he (the All mighty God) can not protect his Holy book then someone can say hey wait a mininute your god can not even protect his word / holy book that means either there is no GOD or Your God is not all powerfull

    (i) Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).

Correction it shoud be like this No Muslims is a Muslims if he does not beileve in Muslims Jesus

(ii) We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt). Mightiest messenger has given a wrong idea that he is son of GOD
so he really needs to correct it then he send Mohomed after him right?

(iii) We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.

then why you asking about having a two fathers

(iv) We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh).

Do you know the real meaning of Christ?

    (v) We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission.

Yes he said I am the way the truth and the life (LIFE) (IAM)

(iv) We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission.

Ha ha Yes he further said if you ask father anythign in my name (not ur name) i will give that to you

Further I think according to you a currupted verses

said " Father is in me " can you say that can ur prophet say it i don't think so

God is spirit. And Jesus is only God's Son in a spiritual sense, not in a physical way.

If someone says, "You are the Son of the Cedars" it means that person is from Lebanon. Or, if from Egypt, "You are the Son of the Nile." To say that Jesus is the Son of God, means that Jesus is from God. It is like a title. When the angel appeared to Mary, the angel said, "the holy One to be born will be called the Son of God." A title. Christians do not believe that God had any sexual relationship with any woman.

Isaiah said, "For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

He is God, who became a man, through Mary. He is God and Son at the same time, born of the virgin Mary.

Why do you think God allowed Jesus to be born from a virgin Mary?
To be born of a woman, and not from a man & woman, means he did not take on the sinful nature of Adam and Eve. When Adam and Eve fell into sin, they passed on the sinful nature from one generation to another, through their own children, down to us.

We are all born as sinners. We're all born with a tendency toward doing things our way, instead of God's way. We all sin. That's why the prophet David cried out, "With sin, my mother conceived me." We all were born with sin. We live as sinful people and we all need a redeemer.

But for Jesus to redeem us, he needed to have a different nature. He needed to be from the spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, no sinfulness at all. Isaiah said, "No deceit was found in him." No sin in him.
