As often as Herman had witnessed the slaughter of animals and fish, he always had the same thought: in their behavior toward creatures, all men were Nazis. The smugness with which man could do with other species as he pleased exemplified the most extreme racist theories, the principle that might is right. — Isaac Bashevis Singer

I know some people cant take these things, but no one else will agree with u, this is the reality...truth is not sweet. So take it and learn, and try to avoid such products, I never go to those stupid shops and I dont eat animal flesh too/

This is nothing. You should see how chickens are slaughtered at local butchers and see how fish suffers when they are caught. Still no one has a problem buying or eating both chicken or fish.
So you're a total vegetarian ? You dont eat fish either ?

I can live with that. I'm not going to be a hypocrite and say that I care about chickens.

    Buddhists please realize.

During the long journey of sansara you can have any form of life, they may be visible like most of the animals, invisible like Pretha and Devas, and microscopic. They may be occupying different environments also.
The fact is, u can be any of these life forms depending on the way u choose to live. Like the one already said he wouldnt care about chicken.
Though your family is a one unit and care for each other each of those members have many different features and capacities, each is having his own path.
Buddha once said throughout this sansara you cannot find any being that had not been ur wife, ur mother, ur brother, ur sister or ur father. Sansara is as longer as that. This remark stresses the fact that we should treat all likfe forms alike, all are struggling in the sansara. Be it a chicken or a cow or a human. Siyalu sathwayo maranayata biya weth, thts wht Buddha said.
U cannot take life of any animal, think of animals as an entity which was once ur father, mother..love and protect them...

I dont wanna argue with Buddhist fundamentalists, those who see things right will realize.
Of course in sri lanka even this happens, even when Buddha was alive this happened, society is composed of different people, like I said they have been running on different tracks, so in this life aldo they continue..wise people wait and think twice and try changing the track...people interpret Buddhism with very narrow scopes..but keep talking and Dhamma will shine more and more while the ignorance will keep deminishing.
