    The health benefits:

Male circumcision holds promise for preventing HIV
    http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2006/0...

Dr. Muhammad 'Ali al-Baar (a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in the UK and a consultant to the Islamic Medicine department of the King Fahd Centre for Medical Research in the King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah) says in his book al-Khitaan (Circumcision):

"Circumcision of newborn boys (I.e., within the first month of life) brings numerous health benefits, including:

1 Protection against local infection in the penis, which may result from the presence of the foreskin, causing tightening of the foreskin, which may lead to retention of urine or infections of the glans (tip) of the penis which require circumcision in order to treat these problems. In chronic cases, the child may be exposed to numerous diseases in the future, the most serious of which is cancer of the penis.

2 Infections of the urethra. Many studies have proven that uncircumcised boys are more exposed to infection of the urethra. In some studies the rate was 39 times more among uncircumcised boys. In other studies the rate was ten times more. Other studies showed that 95% of children who suffered from infections of the urethra were uncircumcised, whereas the rate among circumcised children did not exceed 5%.

In children, infection of the urethra is serious in some cases. In the study by Wisewell on 88 children who suffered infections of the urethra, in 36 % of them, the same bacteria was found in the blood also. Three of them contracted meningitis, and two suffered renal failure. Two others died as a result of the spread of the micro-organisms throughout the body.

3 Protection against cancer of the penis: the studies agree that cancer of the penis is almost non-existent among circumcised men, whereas the rate among uncircumcised men is not insignificant. In the US the rate of penile cancer among circumcised men is zero, whilst among uncircumcised men it is 2.2 in every 100,000 of the uncircumcised population. As most of the inhabitants of the US are circumcised, the cases of this cancer there are between 750 and 1000 per year. If the population were not circumcised, the number of cases would reach 3000. In countries where boys are not circumcised, such as China, Uganda and Puerto Rico, penile cancer represents between 12-22 % of all cancers found in men; this is a very high percentage.

4 Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Researchers found that the STDs which are transmitted via sexual contact (usually because of fornication/adultery and homosexuality) spread more among those who are not circumcised, especially herpes, soft chancres, syphilis, candida, gonorrhea and genital warts.

There are numerous modern studies which confirm that circumcision reduces the possibility of contracting AIDS when compared to their uncircumcised counterparts. But that does not rule out the possibility of a circumcised man contracting AIDS as the result of sexual contact with a person who has AIDS. Circumcision is not a protection against it, and there is no real way of protecting oneself against the many sexually transmitted diseases apart from avoiding fornication/adultery, promiscuity, homosexuality and other repugnant practices. (From this we can see the wisdom of Islamic sharee'ah in forbidding fornication/adultery and homosexuality).

5 Protection of wives against cervical cancer. Researchers have noted that the wives of circumcised men have less risk of getting cervical cancer than the wives of uncircumcised men.

Why did Muhammed married a six-year-old and set a bad example on encouraging child marriages?

The "Child Molester" lie against Muhammad peace be upon him.
Aisha was "9" when she married our Prophet. If this is weird or unacceptable to you, then are BOTH HER PARENTS and the whole Arabs' culture BACK THEN also guilty for giving her and others like her in marriage to other men, 1500 years ago?
Even today, girls in many third-world countries are married off at the same or similar age. In fact, it is believed by many Jews and Roman Catholics that Mary was 12 - 14 when she had Jesus. Also, the Biblical Prophets who had 100s of wives each most probably married young girls as well.

Also, what about Aisha's PARENTS (MOM AND DAD)? Didn't they see it right and fit to marry their daughter at that age and at that time? Who are we to judge?

well my question is , it is said that Allah directly created humans aight??? there are no evolutionary stages that are stated in the quoran? so why still believe that when science has proved that evolution is actually correct? that man did not spring up from clay or whatever because of a divine power??

will take a few years of research to confirm this....

but God said He put them on earth...never said in what form...maybe He put Adam and Eve as near perfect humans....who knows....:lol:

Muslims believe the word Allah was used by Jesus when he hung on the cross. The Bible records that Jesus said "Eli Eli lama sabachthani", but you say Jesus really cried out to Allah and said "Allah, Allah lama sabachthani" My question is: Would you please explain why you would use this argument when you don't believe Jesus ever hung on the cross? And second, since Jesus was quoting Ps 22:1 on the cross, isn't rather unlikely that both the Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek New Testament are wrong using Eli, a Hebrew word, rather than Allah, an arab word?

why god is so unfair? :nerd:

    niger_children_.jpg

    5xg29ms.jpg

This is the earth.....its only a testing ground....the more people suffer on earth...the more of a chance they have to get to heaven easliy....

for God says...the poor are His favorite people....

and if everyone was equal...there could be no value to wealth.....same as inflation.....you would not be able to buy anything or function normally is everyone was equally wealthy....

but this is very very sad indeed....but we Muslims give Zakah every year....where we give as a tax to God 2/3 of our entire wealth...and we use it to help and feed the poor....majority of wealthy Muslims send this money to our poor Muslim country neighbors....

so don't worry.....there has to be a loser...to have a winner....there has to be a yin to every yang....:(:(

Why not man , There are lot of happy people in the world , look at us , Food , drink ,education , luxury life . , then look out side , like Nigeria ,Somalia , that people dont have food for live , then with damn problems. Is This did by a GOD , I saying He is one of the best Son of The Bitch i ever heard

This is creepy bullshit , I thinks its better sit on my ass and just watching what will god give me or not

you can't expect God to treat everyone the same.....in Heaven...we ARE treated exactly the same...and we can have anything we want....

on earth....only people after material goods will cry about not having things or how difficult their life is...to a true Muslim...wealth or not...God's blessing is first.....and no matter how much they suffer...they will love God equally....

and a true Muslims must distribute the wealth he got from God...to people who need help....:):)

if the god exists where he lives??

to us God exist in Limbo....no particular direction most say up...as its the romantic option...lol.....but He is watching over the Earth....supposedly 7 heavens above...

God can never come on the actual Earth...coz His brilliance and power would shatter the earth.....

Musa (Moses)...wanted to see God....so He asked.....God said i shall show but a small part of my brilliance...and when it shone...mountains ripped apart...etc....

basically...God is so powerful if He came to the earth...we will become atomized.....

You say that GOD is not changing, but according to what I see everything is
changing rapidly. How could you explain that?If the GOD is due to some set of
reasons when those set of reasons get lost then how can god be exists or
    be without change?

lol....because God is not on Earth or part of the universe....Earth is changing...and this universe changes....we are born...we age and we die....

everything on earth gets destroyed at some stage.....be it a rubber brake on a bike.....which gets worn out by wear and tear....or be it a big cruise liner that gets rusted and gets sunk to the bottom of the Ocean....

God has no birth...or a death....He does not age to change....nor does He have a body of sort....
    :lol::lol:

and the plans He set when He created Earth...will work out the same way without change....

if it changes like that its not God..might as well be human being or something organic....

I m nt a person who wants to disgrace any religion every one has the right to believe in wat they want.

    BUT

Is it right to use ppls faith to manupulate them. To use the faith to make them sucide bombers to kill ur own ppl. Im nt talkin abt killing americans. Im talking abt killing own muslim brothers n sisters. Spreading extremism in watever forms is not religion ideology. n funding holy wars from money earned frm opium harvesting isnt goin to give any credit to the cause.

Most of the wars happenin currently is with islamic ppl dont u think the religion is misinterpirted for personal gains by some ppl. Somalia, Iraq, Eithupia.

This is nt only islam it happens in buddism and chatholism as well as in Hinduism.

Pls dnt take me as i attack a religion wat im saying is ppl r misinterpritting true values of the religion which in turn give discredit to there believes. If you say all this is part of a religion then it cant be called a religion. A religion by its definition is a way of guiding ppl in a good path. Not something that would be used as an excuse to kill ppl or distrupt ways of life

one question... so will answer the important one...why do Muslims fight and hurt others including other Muslims using religion as a name....

since man could walk we have been fighting....even in the 18th century...Spanish and the English fought...under the name of the same God....each saying they are the blessed people and the other ones are cursed....

even now the American armies have chaplains....those are christian priests who are trained in combat....and serve as religions leaders for their sunday prayers etc....

its is bad to twist God's words to cause mischief and harm....and those people will be quite heavily punished...so don't worry.....

Islam is against this...and true Muslims will not get brain washed.....but in every family...there are the uneducated people who ruin the name of the family....:oo::baffled:

    Diamond job well done !!

A muslim is a not follower of the religon, but Muslim means that he believes in a oneness of god and his prophets.

Please note that the word Allah merely GOD in arabic. We believe in god not just because of Prophet Muhammed taught us. There others prophets who preached about god.

Moses, Abraham, Jesus are to name a few.

We believe in all of these above men. We practise Muhamed path but the practice of god is taught earlier prophets too and even Prophets Muhammed taught us about the other prophets and even the Holy Quran talks about the other prophets especially Jesus and also his Mother Mary. Quran has a separate chapter on Mary and we respect her and the other Prophets to the utmost.

We are the only religon apart from Christianity that believes the miraculous birth of the Jesus. ( May pace be upon him ) and also his second coming. ( christians would be knowing better about his second coming )

Talking about circumcision, it is not only Muslim who Jews and Christians and prophets time did.
Even Jesus christ has done -
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feast_of_the_Circumcision_of_Christ
    http://www.biblicalheritage.org/Jesus/Jesus_in_Context.htm

Why is that only muslims are pulled for circumcisions, when others do it :( .

Further, we muslims have a lot common with the teaching of Moses (Jews) and Jesus ( Christains) its that there is a common ego goin around us. That my religon is more superior than your.
    :):)

Anyway... I quote myself from this thread

    Quran says:

    Quote:
It is Allâh Who has created seven heavens and of the earth the like thereof (i.e. seven).
    - 65:12

So in our solar system how many planets according to Quran? 7

How many actually we have? 8 normal planets + 5 dwarf planet = 13 (almost double the amount Quran says)

    Can you explain this?

P.S: Also more questions like this.. you can find in this comment
