Racist Muslims changed the name of Kuragala as "soronga malai" and destorted the kuragala history claiming that this cave was belonged to Muslims for over 800 years....

while Muslim racist politicians (like Aboosally) were distrupting the Legal issues related to the archeological site, the muslim racist elements have built up this mosque..

The Secretary of The Lanka Buddhist Conservation Council of the Asgiri Chapter Ven. Meddagama Dammananda Thera alleged that the Bhikku, who was in charge of the temple had fled in face of violence and threats from encroachers.
