For the first time in Sri Lanka , the Arch Bishop, Oswald Gomes was appointed the Chancellor of the Colombo University by the President. It is an honour bestowed on the other religious denominations for their contributions to education. A person holding such an exalted position should not get involved in partisan politics at the whims and fancies of business magnates, drug traffickers, KASIPPU MUDALALIS, etc. in order to block the massive support earned by Mahinda Rajapaksa, who has vowed to uphold the constitution, safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Sri Lanka.
Lalith Kotalawala, a born Buddhist and who converted to Catholism later for unknown reasons is using his money and his position to convert Buddhists. He has become the self-appointed saviour of the Catholic Church and he is more Catholic, than born Catholics in the country. He was conferred an honorary degree by the Sri Jayawardenepura University. However, he has brought his degree into disrepute by getting involved in partisan politics. Sri Lankans are aware the political developments in the country. He shouln't spend millions on advertisements to educate them.
They will teach a good lesson to him on November 17 by electing Mahinda Rajapaksa.
